A Brief History of Our Company
About Us
Lide Forensics is a leading provider of deep research, bespoke investigative and intelligence support for high-profile individuals and companies across various fields and industries. We help our clients succeed in their endeavours by delivering timely, accurate and actionable insights that are hard to obtain elsewhere.
Our company has a rich history that dates back to 2010, when we started out as RHT Forensics & Disputes Advisory, a subsidiary of RHTLaw Taylor Wessing LLP, one of the largest law firms in Singapore. We then became RHT Intelligence Network in 2016, and expanded our services and network to cover more than 10 countries in Asia and beyond, including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, Thailand, Hong Kong, the UK and Kazakhstan. We have served over 100 clients, ranging from multinational corporations, financial institutions, government agencies, law firms, media outlets, NGOs, to high-net-worth individuals and celebrities.
In 2020, we rebranded ourselves as Lide Forensics, with a vision to become the most trusted and respected intelligence and investigation company in the region. We intend to carry on our tradition of excellence and professionalism, and leverage our expansive network and agents to provide intelligence that even government agencies find hard to reach outside their jurisdiction.
Our Team of Experts
Lide Forensics is led by a team of veteran professionals who have extensive experience and expertise in their respective industries. They include:
- An accredited chartered accountant who has over 20 years of experience in forensic accounting, fraud investigation, litigation support, valuation and dispute resolution.
- A founder and managing director of an award-winning private investigation agency who has over 15 years of experience in conducting corporate and private investigations, due diligence, background checks, asset tracing, surveillance and counter-surveillance.
- A veteran lawyer, ex-judge and prosecutor who has over 30 years of experience in criminal and civil litigation, arbitration, mediation, corporate governance, compliance and risk management.
- A security analyst and counter-terrorism specialist who has over 10 years of experience in working with the Internal Security Department (ISD) of Singapore, the national security agency responsible for domestic and foreign intelligence, counter-terrorism, counter-espionage and cyber security.
- A Dato’, ex-director of the ASEAN Secretariat and the Military Security Department of Singapore, who has over 25 years of experience in regional and international affairs, diplomacy, defence and security cooperation.
- A founder of the Singapore-France and Singapore-Kazakhstan Trade Commissions, ex-banker and director of a Singapore Exchange (SGX) mainboard company, who has over 20 years of experience in banking, finance, trade and investment.
- A managing director of a leading security and personal protection (bodyguard) company who has over 10 years of experience in providing security solutions, risk assessment, crisis management and VIP protection.
- Several ex-CID (Criminal Investigation Department) senior investigators of the Singapore Police Force who have over 20 years of experience in solving complex and high-profile cases involving murder, robbery, kidnapping, extortion, cybercrime and organised crime.
